The Premium Investor Visa (PIV) (SC – 188D Visa) is available exclusively to applicants nominated by AusTrade and offers a 4-year temporary visa for individuals who are prepared to invest at least AUD 15 million in complying investments in Australia. Once the applicant has maintained the investment for 1 year, they may be eligible to apply for permanent residence through the Business Innovation & Investment (Residence) Subclass 888 visa.
Location: Applicants can apply from within Australia or overseas.
In Australia: If the applicant is within Australia, they must hold a Substantive Visa or a Bridging A, B, or C visa.
