Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is a provincial immigration pathway that allows the federal government to select skilled immigrants with in-demand job skills and experience for Canadian permanent residency.

There are two ways to apply:

👉 Direct Entry: Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) directly to the SINP. If selected, you’ll receive a provincial nomination and can then import your credentials into the Express Entry system.

👉 Express Entry: Create an Express Entry profile and select Saskatchewan as your preferred province. If you’re selected, you’ll receive an invitation to apply for the SINP and instantly gain 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System. This significantly increases your chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada in the next Express Entry draw.

International Skilled Worker

Skilled workers seeking to live and work in Saskatchewan can apply under this category. Applicants must meet specific criteria and demonstrate proficiency in education, work experience, and English or French.

Saskatchewan Express Entry

Skilled workers who live abroad or in Canada that are in the candidate pool of Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s Express Entry system can apply for this subcategory.

Workers occupation must be in NOC level 0, A or B; or in a designated trade and have been working in Saskatchewan for at least 6 months with a valid work permit can apply for this subcategory.

Letter of support from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CoPSS) is required. The letter must state your type of licence, expiry date and CoPSS’ support for you to become a permanent resident in Saskatchewan. Letter from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada may be required too.

Workers who have been working as a Food/Beverage Server (NOC 6513), Food Counter Attendant/Kitchen Helper (NOC 6711) or Housekeeping/Cleaning Staff (NOC 6731) for at least 6 months (780 hours) at an SINP Hospitality-approved employer with a temporary work permit through a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) can apply for this subcategory.
